What a Difference 3 years make!!!!

3 short years ago, Mark and Itraveled to China to pick up our daughter. Abby couldn't walk, sit up by herself, talk or crawl. She was 15 lbs at 19 months old. Well, now she is 4 1/2 almost 35 lbs.; doesn't stop talking; loves to sing, dance, swim and is just our joy. She is now in Pre-K at St. John Primary in Prairieville.

Jonathan is a Freshman at the Boston Conservatory. We are so proud of him. He placed in advanced classes in his craft and has a lead role in his first college play.

Brandon is now an Attorney at Law, living in Colorado and loving it. His girlfiend, Annie, is just as sweet as she can be.

Mark and I are so blessed. You know it is real easy for us to get caught up in the "things" in this life that we don't have. I am so thankful for our blessings.

We promise to do better on posting pictures.

Cincinnati, Boston, and Easter

We have been very busy the past month or so. Jonathan was accepted to the Boston Conservatory and received a scholership. We are so proud of him.

Mark and Brandon joined him on a trip to visit the school and see Boston. Jonathan is very excited and will be attending in the fall.

Abby was a little angel for Easter. Mom found the perfect dress and she enjoyed so much wearing it. She was the egg boxing champion this year in our annual competition. She loves hunting eggs but especially dressing up for Easter. Spring is such a wonderful time of year.
Abby, Mom and Dad made a trip to Cincinnati childrens hospital for a check up. Doc Doc said she is doing great and should have no long term issues. That was wonderful news for us all. While there she met a new friend. Maya was also adopted from China and was born with the same condition as Abby. They live in Florida we plan to stay in touch. They had such fun playing and became good friends.

Mark has to travel for work to Scotland and is going to try and go see St. Andrews. That is something he has always wanted to do. Debbie has to go to Alaska for work in June. Keep us in your prayers for safe travel!

Brandon is still waiting on word about his Bar exam. Please keep in your thoughts and prayers as he anxiously awaits GOOD NEWS!!!!!

I promise to do better about updating our website. I know I say that everytime .... but....

Abby's 2009 Christmas Update

We took these pictures yesterday and I wanted to share some of them with you. She is getting so big too fast. It is hard to believe that she will be 4 in January. She has come so far in such a little time. We are truly blessed! She is our little "Angel". She is still struggling with potty training but will get it one day.

Jonathan turned 18 this month .... about the time we discovered that he has Type 1 Diabetes. He was admitted to the hospital with his blood sugar at almost 700. He spent 1 week in Intensive Care but is doing Great now! He has a pump and is learning to manage his illness. He is waiting to hear on colleges.

Brandon and his girlfriend, Annie, surprised Jonathan and came in for his 18th birthday party on Halloween night. They are living in Denver now and waiting for the snow.

Enjoy the pictures!

Our Summer 2009

It has been a busy time. Abby is now potty trained!!!!!! YEA! She still has a few accidents, but she is doing great. Mark and I thought about building another house, but have decided against it due to the economy. We do have a lot that we are selling if any one is interested. Abby had these pictures taken at school and I thought we would share them.

Jonathan went to Northwestern University in Chicago this summer to attend a Theatre workshop. He received a scholarship from NOCCA and he really enjoyed his summer. It's hard to believe that he is a senior this year.

Brandon is still in Boulder, but coming home soon for a visit. He is anxiously awaiting information on his bar exam. Please keep him in your prayers.

Mark's Dad, Harry, has not been doing well. He is soon to be 97 and has lived an awesome life. He is tired, but he is a fighter. Please keep him and the family in your prayers.

I moved to another job still at ExxonMobil and love it. Life is good!

Happy Easter

We apologize for not posting more.  Here are some pictures of Abby at Easter at the subdivision Easter Hunt.  She is growing so fast and has been talking up a storm.  I hope you enjoy these pictures.

We have been working on building another house and making more room for Abby.  We have our house up for sale and have had a few nibbles.  Please keep us in your prayers during this journey.

Enjoy!
